A Shiny new update for a shiny new year! Been awhile fight fans but Mattitude is back in action! The site will be going under some major changes very soon to make it easier to update and keep everyone updated, as well as the addition of a photo section and MORE comics (because there is a serious lack of comics here). I went to the North American MMA Expo in California in December and it was great! I got to meet Randy Couture, Dan Henderson, Tito Ortiz, Shonie Carter, Antonio McKee, Vladimir Matyushenko, Sean Sherk, Tank Abbott, Marco Ruas, Mark Coleman, Lisa King, Lisa Ward, Roxy Richardson, Mike Swick and Gene Lebell! Chances are I am forgetting someone because there were so many fighters there! It was a great time meeting legends in the sport and networking and I hope to be back there for NAMMAE 2! In other news, you can now catch my art twice each month in MMA Authority and MMA Worldwide magazine! MMA Authority has my spot illustrations and MMA Worldwide will be featuring a two page comic from me each issue, an on-going saga called "Against the fence". So get them on newstands nationwide now! I have also been doing some photography work for Sherdog.com and and I will be posting all of my photos once the new site is up and running. New in the merchandise section are my MMA postcards and sketchbooks, I have 10 postcards of some of my favorite prints and the sketchbooks are very cool with 40 pages of original sketches of any fighter you can name, from Fedor to Franklin, Coleman to Couture, Rampage to Randleman, the list goes on! And I have plenty of signed prints available as well (e-mail to inquire and make me an offer). Thanks to those who bid and those who won the signed Chuck Liddell prints for The Ryan Bennett Memorial Fund. We raised well over $5,000 with those 20 limited edition prints and its all for a great cause, and there is something for everyones price range, just go to eBay and search "Ryanbennettmemorialfund". And another great cause is the Female Fighters Against Domestic Violence, check them out at www.ffadv.org There is so much to say and so much to do but I think it is best if you just wait until the new site is up for all the new surprises and goodies that will be here, so check back really soon as the era of Mattitude continues to flow in your blood and dominate your brain (I have been hanging out with the Ultimate Warrior alot these days...)
